Making its official debut a few days ago at the New York International Auto Show was the 2015 Ford Focus sedan. At Shults Ford Lincoln of Wexford, we were in love with the 2014 Ford Focus, but the updates to the 2015 model just makes us fall even farther for this amazing sedan.
The revised headlights join a lower grille as just a few subtle updates that were done to the Focus. Also available for the 2015 model is Ford’s 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine, which is paired with six-speed manual transmission. To top it off, other mechanical changes include an updated electronic steering rack and suspension changes that make the ride more comfortable.
On the interior, there also seem to be some minor tweaks, including blind-spot detection and lane-keeping assist.
The updates to the 2015 Ford Focus are all the more reason to continue to love the amazing car the Focus has always been!
To ensure that the 2015 Ford F-150 is every bit as good as its predecessors, Ford put the all-new aluminum bodied frame through the ringer, in a series of tests that would prove the aluminum body of the new F-150 is just as sturdy and is “built Ford tough” as the F-150’s before it.
The Ford F-150 has been the best-selling truck in the United States for the past 37 years, as well as the best-selling vehicle period for the past 32 years. At Shults Ford Lincoln of Wexford, we know the 2015 Ford F-150 is going to help continue to tradition of success.
Truck lovers like to throw whatever obstacle they can at their pickup, so Ford had to make sure the new F-150 was ready for anything. The tests included shaking and twisting the pickup in 7 different ways, giving it corrosion and acid baths, seeing how it would handle driving over extremely bumpy terrain, and towing in ridiculously hot weather, among other things.

The last 50 years have proved to be amazing when it comes to the Ford Mustang. This classic American vehicle has made it half a century and is still just as popular as it was when the 1965 Ford Mustang made its debut. To celebrate the past 50 years, Ford has decided to make history with the ‘Stang. Or maybe it would be better to say that they are reliving history.
The 1965 Ford Mustang convertible prototype was introduced to the world when it sat atop the Empire State Building in New York City during the 1964 World’s Fair. This year, Ford has plans to do the exact same thing with the 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible.
“New York is one of the greatest cities in the world, and it’s the place where the Ford Mustang story began 50 years ago. We’re thrilled to be visiting the architectural landmark that has been the heart of the Manhattan skyline for 83 years with the newest generation of the car that is the soul of Ford Motor Company,” said Mark Fields, Ford chief operating officer.
Not only will the 2015 Ford Mustang convertible be reliving history, it will be making it as well. From all of us at Shults Ford Lincoln of Wexford, happy 50th anniversary to America’s favorite car and here’s to another 50 wonderful years!

Ford has continued to do quite well in the United States, despite having to close a few plants to get ready for the 2015 Ford F-150. The sales in the US aside, Ford has also seen a great increase in their sales in Europe, with a year-over-year increase in sales for the ninth straight month.
European sales for Ford rose 11.6% in February, crushing the previous increase of the industry’s 8% improvement year over year. Not only that, but Ford increased its total market share, its retail market share, and commercial vehicle share, with the commercial vehicle sales volume for Ford increasing by an impressive 15.8% in February.
Roelant de Waard, the vice president of Marketing, Sales and Service for Ford Europe definitely had a few exciting words to say about the February sales. “Our sales and share performance in February marked another step forward for Ford as we progress in our plan to return to profitability in Europe in 2015.”

Ford recently announced that the horsepower and torque of the 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 engine for 2015 has been increased. With this increase, the Ford F-Series Super Duty has once again started leading the class, with 440 hp and 860 pound-feet of torque, which is enough to allow the Ford F-450 Super Duty tow an impressive 31,200 pounds, which Ford is claiming to be class leading.
For a better comparison to the competition, the Ford F-350 is a better one to look at. Capped at a towing capacity of 26,500 pounds, the Ford F-350 is no slouch, but it’s going to take a lot more than that for the F-450 to have any issues.
The ability for the increased power is definitely the talk of the town, and it comes from the increased horsepower and torque in the 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 engine, not to mention the new fuel injector tips, as well as updated computer controls. The upgrades to the engine aren’t the only thing the Ford F-Series Super Duty has seen. The F-450 is getting new wheels and tires, leaf springs, shocks, and stabilizer bars, not to mention an upgraded steering and brake system.

Singer, Aloe Blacc, is not a newcomer to partnering up with luxury brands. His single “Wake Me Up” plays in the ad campaigns for the headphones, Beats by Dre. Beats are some of the best headphones money can buy, but it appears that Blacc is moving on to even bigger things with his new partnership with Lincoln.
“Lincoln is a classic luxury brand but reinventing itself in a very modern way, which I can relate to right now as an artist going through a transformation with my music,” Blacc stated. Aloe Blacc will be teaming up with Lincoln to make an interactive music video that will play a part in introducing the Lincoln MKZ sedan.
We love Blacc’s music just as much as we love Lincoln vehicles. Make sure you check out his up and coming first full-length album ‘Lift Your Spirit’! And what better way to listen to a great album than by playing it in a new Lincoln vehicle while traveling around town? Stern Pinball is celebrating 50 years of the Ford Mustang in its own way: by creating three modern versions of a Mustang-themed pinball game. It’s been ages since we at Shults Ford Lincoln of Wexford have even looked at a pinball machine, but we’re definitely looking forward to playing the new, all-things-Mustang game.
What makes this pinball game so much better than other special edition machines? It features the handiwork of Ford GT designer, Camilo Pardo; and as for how it operates, Stern Pinball’s executive VP for Game Design, George Gomez, said, “You’ll be collecting Mustangs; you’ll be modifying Mustangs; you’ll be racing Mustangs; you’ll be doing all the things that people do with Mustangs.”
We mentioned three versions:
The game’s first version, the pro-level, is intended for arcades and public spaces. The machine is on display at this year’s Chicago Auto Show.
The second version is the premium level. It will include additional art to attract pinball machine collectors.
The third version of the machine is the special edition. This edition is signed and highlights the 50th anniversary with artwork of the 1965 and 2015 Mustangs.
Discounting the pro-level’s price tag at just under $5,000, which version of the Mustang Pinball Game would you choose?
