Ford Bronco Sweeps 2022 King of Hammers

Ford Bronco | Pittsburgh, PA

The Ford Bronco is back, and it’s better and badder than ever. Need more proof? The Bronco 4600 stock vehicle scored a 1-2-3 finish earlier this year at the 2022 King of Hammers.

Vaughn Gitting Jr. and Loren Healey were first to cross the finish line in Hammertown in the No. 2567 Bronco 4600. They were followed by Brad and Roger Lovell in the No. 4621 Bronco 4600, who placed second, and Bailey Cole and Jason Scherer finishing third in the No. 13 Bronco 4600.

Ford sweeping the ULTRA4 4600 stock-class couldn’t be timelier for the Bronco. This huge achievement came shortly after Ford revealed the Bronco Raptor, the world’s first ULTRA4-inspired SUV. That beast will also be the most powerful street-legal Bronco ever built, delivering at least 400 horsepower.

As for the beast that won the 2022 King of Hammers, the Ford Bronco 4600 stock-class vehicle features the 2.7-liter EcoBoost® twin-turbo V6 and the High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension System. These features are also offered on the new 2022 Ford Bronco, which you can find right here at Shults Ford Wexford in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Ford, State Farm® Launch Drive Safe & Save™ Connected Car

Drive Safe & Save™ Connected Car | Wexford, PA

Part of what we love most about representing the Blue Oval at Shults Ford is the brand’s commitment to saving drivers money. One great new example of this ongoing effort is Drive Safe & Save™ Connected Car, a new insurance option for select Ford customers.

Ford teams up with State Farm® to offer usage-based insurance, which means the amount you pay relates directly to how and how much you drive. Eligible connected 2020 model year and newer Ford vehicles can share information with the insurance provider as part of Drive Safe & Save Connected Car. State Farm® will use this data to adjust your insurance premiums, which can result in savings of hundreds of dollars.

“Customers can better manage their car insurance premium because their rate will be more closely associated with their personal driving characteristics,” says State Farm Senior Vice President Property and Casualty Chris Schell. “Drive Safe & Save™ represents a significant auto discount opportunity, including an initial 10 percent participation discount off major coverages. Discounts average between 10 and 15 percent, with even higher discounts possible depending on individual driving behaviors.”

According to Ford, the Drive Safe & Save™ Connected Car program is initially launching in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, and Oregon. But fret not, because it’ll be coming to Pennsylvania sometime very soon.
