If you’re one of the many Pittsburghers who aren’t driving as much these days, Ford has a way to help you save some money. Ford is partnering with major insurance providers across America to offer customers usage-based policies based on how you drive.
Ford Insure offers a new usage-based insurance policy for customers with eligible vehicles. With a policy through American Road Services Company, you can expect to save up to 40 percent in discounts on your premium depending on your driving habits. You can use the FordPass™ app to get a quote and purchase your preferred policy or bundle, or you can visit fordinsure.com for more information.
Ford is also working with companies like State Farm, Allstate, and Liberty Mutual to offer usage-based insurance policies for drivers with connected vehicles. With these policies, Ford sends telematics data to your insurer via the FordPass Connect™ modem, allowing the insurance company to offer rate discounts based on your habits.
“Connected vehicles present new opportunities for us to help customers save money and improve their experience with Ford products,” said Alex Purdy, director of business operations, enterprise connectivity, Ford Motor Company. “Whether customers are purchasing through Ford Insure or working with another carrier, we are committed to giving them the ability to choose the right option for themselves — and to potentially earn big discounts based on how they drive.”
Today’s Ford lineup is smarter and more connected than ever. Hot new vehicles like the 2021 Ford F-150, Bronco Sport, and Mustang Mach-E offer cutting-edge connectivity and intelligence with technologies like SYNC® 4 and Ford Co-Pilot360™.
