Peoples Gas Holiday Market. The annual Peoples Gas Holiday Market is the perfect destination to get into the holiday spirit. Not only does this market, which creates a picturesque village in Market Square, offer you the option to find unique Christmas gifts, but it also gives the kids a chance to meet Santa. There are a number of local and national vendors to browse, bringing to mind the original German Christkindlmarkt. It is on from now until December 23rd. On Thursdays, it is open from 11am to 8pm; on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, it is open from 11am to 6pm.
Spirits of Giving From Around the World. Step into an international wonderland in the PPG Wintergarden’s Spirits of Giving From Around the World. This exhibition displays a number of life-sized Santas, each of which depict holiday traditions from around the globe. It also has a collection of original paintings on display to help capture memories of Christmases past. There is even a 32-foot tree on display, surrounded by the Santas and gingerbread houses. The exhibit is free, so stop by to see this wonderful, educational display.
